AKC Listing Service for Non-registrable Dogs
David Roberts, Mari-Beth O’Neill, Curt Curtis and Connie Pearcy, AKC staff, participated in this portion of the meeting by video conference.
During the strategic planning process, the AKC Board of Directors directed staff to explore the possibility of creating a new listing service
for non-registrable mixed breed dogs and further explore the possibility of allowing them to participate in separate classes in AKC Companion
Events (Agility, Obedience, Rally and Tracking). Staff’s concept was reviewed and will be discussed further at the October 2006 meeting.

AKC Mixed Breed Dog Listing Project
David Roberts, AKC Staff, presented an update on the status of this project. A staff project team has been created and a survey to gather the
input of the Fancy has been prepared. Additional information on this topic will accompany the survey and be distributed to all Delegates,
Presidents and Secretaries of All-Breed, Specialty, Obedience, Agility and Performance clubs. The survey will remain open until March 31, 2007.
